Positively Trans (T+), a project of Transgender Law Center, seeks to mobilize and promote resilience of trans people most impacted by or living with HIV/AIDS, particularly trans women of color, through research, policy advocacy, legal advocacy, and leadership development. Earlier this year, T+ teamed up with the Atlanta-based organization La Gender, Inc., to create 5 videos illustrating local community members’ experiences as trans women of color living with HIV.

These stories highlight challenges and victories with survival, discrimination, sex work, health care, homelessness, and the strength that comes from living authentically. Join us as we celebrate the launch of our digital storytelling project, including a screening of the videos and highlights from our national needs assessment of trans and gender non-conforming people living with HIV.
